EEEK! We now have a 12 year old!

If you know Brooklyn at all you will know she loves two things:  BYU and Basketball.  So for her birthday she got some new blue basketball shoes, Texas A&M basketball shorts, and a new bike so she can now ride it to school!!  She even got birthday packages from grandparents which she loved!  THANKS!

Mason and Jessica joined dad and I for school lunch with Brooklyn and Megan (luckily they had the same lunch.)  Jessica loved to sit at a seat all to herself and eat cheetos and gatorade.  My girls are getting too old they didn't think it was as cool as it used to be to have us there!  DANG it, but Brooklyn did appreciate it.  The vice principal came and visited with us for a minute and said how nice it was that our whole family could come to lunch together.  We didn't mention that we actually had 2 other children that were missing!

The rest of the day was filled with runner's club, basketball practice, feeding the missionaries, carving pumpkins, eating some heavenly cake, and finishing up our Halloween costumes!  We love you Brooklyn and are so proud of what a wonderful young women you are becoming (whether we are ready or not!)

Brooklyn had a friend party a few days later on the weekend and had a fun group of girls over.  They talked, laughed, ate, and played some fun games, their favorite being the question game!  It was fun to see Brooklyn enjoy being with friends and bonus almost all of them are in our ward and just either turned 12 or are going to be soon!
