We did a little bit of wii and got our Christmas lights up outside and all of our Christmas decorations out. We also went to a park and launched our rockets since it was so nice outside. Saturday we had our first visitors. We were so glad that they took the time to come see us. Joel's cousin Craig and his wife Sharise Tippets drove down from Houston where they were staying for Thanksgiving with her sister. It was really nice to see a familiar face from Utah. Joel took us on a tour of Texas A&M. It is a huge campus. Joel had a 10 page paper due over the holiday weekend and a lot of presentations coming up so he did great balancing it all.
Sunday evening a family invited us all over for REAL gingerbread houses and even let each of us decorate our own. Talk about alot of work!!! We saved a lot of our Halloween candy to decorate them with. My kids will never be satisfied with my graham cracker/glue gun houses again!
They had their class bunny at their house for the holiday weekend that they all had fun feeding lettuce.
We got our FAKE tree from a neighbor that was getting rid of it. We usually have a real one that is about 10-12 feet tall because the ceiling in our old house was so high. But we have really enjoyed our simple tree that is jam packed with decorations now. Let the CHRISTmas holiday begin!!
